Nature of this site

wetopsilicone.com is the marketing and RFQ (Request For Quotation) surface of Wetop Silicone, a custom silicone products manufacturer operating in Dongguan, China. The site exists to help buyers evaluate the factory, understand our capabilities, and open a quotation dialogue.

We do not sell finished goods directly through this site. No products can be ordered here. There is no shopping cart, no catalogue pricing, and no consumer-facing checkout. Every program is quoted individually against the buyer’s specification.

Who this site is for

Wetop takes on custom manufacturing programs for:

  • Retail brands and their sourcing agents
  • Distributors and private-label operators
  • Institutional buyers (hotel groups, food-service chains, healthcare organizations)
  • OEM/ODM design teams

We do not take retail, wholesale, drop-ship, or under-MOQ orders. Minimum order quantity is 500 pieces per SKU as a rule, with exceptions occasionally granted for strategic first-time programs.

Quotations

Written quotations we send you carry the following default terms unless we agree otherwise in writing:

  • Validity: 30 calendar days from the quotation date
  • Currency: USD unless the buyer requests another common currency
  • Basis: FOB Shenzhen unless the buyer specifies another Incoterm
  • Payment: 30% deposit at PO, 70% before shipment; L/C at sight accepted for orders above USD 50,000
  • Sample lead time: 7-15 business days on existing tooling; 18-25 business days on new P20 tooling
  • Mass-production lead time: 30-45 calendar days after sample approval, subject to material availability
  • Material market clause: If food-grade silicone base material moves more than 8% between quotation and purchase order, we may re-quote the material portion of the price

Intellectual property

  • Buyer IP: All designs, CAD files, trademarks, artwork, and specifications supplied by the buyer remain the buyer’s property. We use them solely to quote, tool, sample, and manufacture the buyer’s program.
  • Factory IP: Manufacturing processes, mould design know-how, curing recipes, and QC procedures developed by Wetop remain Wetop’s property, whether or not they were applied to a specific buyer’s program.
  • Tooling: The buyer owns any tooling paid for by the buyer, unless the quotation says otherwise. Tooling is stored at the factory for the buyer’s programs; transfer of physical tooling to another factory is at the buyer’s cost and requires 30-days written notice.
  • NDA: A mutual non-disclosure agreement is available on request before we exchange proprietary information. Full policy, coverage scope, retention terms, and how to request the template are documented in our NDA Policy.

Warranties

Manufactured products carry a 12-month workmanship warranty from date of shipment against defects in materials and craftsmanship, provided the product is used within the specified use conditions (temperature range, food contact, cleaning method) declared in the technical drawing.

The warranty does not cover:

  • Damage from misuse, abuse, or use outside declared conditions
  • Aesthetic wear consistent with the material’s expected life
  • Silicone yellowing after 6+ months of dishwasher exposure (a known material characteristic, not a defect)
  • Third-party modifications to the product

Compliance representations

We represent, and each shipment is accompanied by a Certificate of Conformity confirming:

  • Base silicone material is either FDA 21 CFR 177.2600 compliant, LFGB compliant, or both, as specified in the quotation
  • Products are produced under an ISO 9001:2015 quality management system
  • PFAS non-detect claims (when specified) are backed by per-lot third-party test certificates

We do not make claims about certifications we do not hold. If a buyer requires a certificate we cannot provide, we say so before quoting.

Site content

  • Photographs, videos, and process diagrams on this site depict Wetop’s own factory floor and equipment unless clearly marked as third-party reference imagery
  • Brand names of retail buyers, sink manufacturers, or competitors mentioned in guides or case studies are used for descriptive purposes only and do not imply endorsement, partnership, or exclusive supply relationships unless explicitly stated
  • Case studies are anonymized. Where a case study is presented under a customer name, that customer has approved the mention in writing.

Prohibited uses of the site

You agree not to:

  • Scrape, mirror, or resell content from the site without written permission (AI crawlers welcome — see /robots.txt)
  • Submit false, misleading, or malicious information through the quote form
  • Upload files containing malware, executables, or content unrelated to a manufacturing brief
  • Attempt to access non-public areas of the hosting infrastructure

Availability

The site and quote form are provided on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee 100% uptime. If the site is unreachable and you need to send a brief, email inquiry@wetopsilicone.com directly.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China. Disputes that cannot be resolved through direct negotiation between the buyer and Wetop will be submitted to the Guangzhou Arbitration Commission for arbitration under its then-current rules. Nothing in this clause prevents either party from seeking injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect intellectual property.

For buyers whose programs are governed by a signed manufacturing contract with a different governing-law clause, the manufacturing contract prevails over these site terms.

Changes

We may update these terms as our business practices evolve. The Last modified date at the top of this page reflects the latest change. For material changes affecting active-program customers, we will send notice by email.
